Welcome to Sugar House Day Spa and Salon 

This modern spa and salon occupies the residence portion of a sugar refinery complex that was owned by the prestigious Moore family. Later on, it belonged to the McLean family (for which McLean, Virginia is named). The building dates prior to 1805 and is beautifully restored. There is a warmth and an ambiance that you feel as you enter. The interior is adorned by crystal chandeliers, plush purple carpeting and rich wood tones which provide the setting of what is sure to be a pleasurable and memorable experience.

Since it's opening in March of 1999, Sugar House has raised the bar for the day spa experience. Technology is utilized extensively throughout and is designed to serve the individual needs of each of it's guests.  Each station is computerized, allowing the guest to add services to their visit without the hint of a hassle. There are 26 stereo speakers throughout that provide, gentle and soothing music. If you're getting the idea that this is something more than your average spa, you're right. Sugar House is a luxury experience designed to de-stress and pamper.

The Moor Mud Masque

Staffed by dedicated professionals, including five Certified Massage Therapists, Sugar House is an oasis.  These are all genuinely nice and caring people. There are two skin care rooms in addition to the separate hair and nail salons. Read on to learn about the extensive selection of services available.

Therapeutic Body Wraps ~ This is a pampering experience designed to stimulate circulation, eliminate  toxins and rebalance your skin at the cellular level. Choose between the  Hydrating Essential Oil Wrap, Moor Mud Masque or Spirulina Body Contouring Masque.

Massage Therapy for Women and Men ~ Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Aromathereapy Massage, Special Knead Massage and Reflexology Massage are your choices here.  Massage is performed  by licensed and highly trained professionals.  Ask about the optional Vichy Shower massage to start your appointment. A series of select treatments and  massages are available with special pricing.

Professional Salon Services ~ Hair and Scalp Services, Tinting, Nail Services, Makeup Application, Makeup Lessons and Waxing Services are all performed by specialists who really care about helping you look your best and ensuring that you enjoy a relaxing experience.

Day Spa Packages ~ Choose from the Royal Treatment, King Street Retreat, Queen for a Day, Prince Charming or the Sugar House Sampler. Each of these treatments last from 2.5 to 6 hours and are guaranteed to rejuvenate, restore and relax your mind, body and spirit.

Skin Care Treatments for Women and Men ~ These services are performed by highly trained and skilled estheticians who will provide a detailed consultation and design a skin care program personalized to your own needs and daily schedule. Choose from the following: European Deep Cleansing Facial, Mirco-dermabrasion (power peel), Aromatherapy Facial, Rejuvenating Facial or the Gentlemen's Facial. In addition you can add a Glycolic Treatment, a Fresh Cell Treatment or the Vitamin C Treatment to enhance your facial.

Spa Body Care Treatments for Women and Men ~ These are deep cleansing treatments designed to soothe and refine the texture of the skin by exfoliating dull surface skin cells to produce a softer, smoother and healthier glowing skin. Choose from the Turkish Salt Glow, Thermal Mineral Loofah Scrub, Chamomile Body Scrub or the Moor Mud Treatment. Each of these services last approximately one hour.
