Special Note To Tour Directors

The Old Town Experience would like to enhance your next visit to Alexandria, Virginia. We are a company specializing in group tours, providing either step-on bus guides or a guide for a walking tour of the city's historic district.

Bus tours with a step-on guide last slightly over an hour with a stop a historic Christ Church. The cost is six dollars per person.

Walking tours are also slightly over one hour in length and discuss the city's unique architecture, hospitality symbols, historic sites, folklore, and many famous residents. The cost for a walking tour is fifteen dollars per person.

Carlyle House, Gadsby's Tavern, or the Old Apothecary Shop can be added to your tour. Each of the museums is an additional four dollars and lasts 40 minutes longer.

Lunch, Dinner, Tea, a riverboat cruise, or a shopping tour can be arranged and tailored to fit your groups' schedule and interests. Alexandria is located just across the Potomac River from Washington, DC and it is ten miles north of George Washington's home at Mt. Vernon.

We would love to share historic Old Town with your group and provide a warm welcome to first time guests, as well as returning visitors.
