After working for a kennel for almost 20 years, manager Bob Rollins, wanted to improve upon the quality of care being provided to pets. Now in their 10^th year Club Pet offers a unique concept in an animal care facility. The professional and caring staff places the welfare of your pet above all other considerations. Club Pet provides a comfortable caring atmosphere, staffed by professionals with more than 20 years experience.

Accommodations ~ While Club Pet mainly boards dogs and cats, they will board just about anything you can fit through the front door. Their guests have included potbelly pigs, monkeys, lizards, turtles, ferrets, rabbits, sheep and snakes. They also have a special area just for birds.

For your cuddly canines we provide extra large runs, not cages, with adjoining sleeping quarters which are climate controlled—heated in winter and air-conditioned for summer. Non-allergenic plush bedding is always included. Senior citizens with special needs can enjoy our geriatric ward.

Frisky felines are in separate quarters away from the noise of our canine companions. Kitty condos are complete with ledges to jump on and rooms with an outside view are also available. Several room styles are available to accommodate felines with special needs.

Special diets and medications can be arranged for individual guests at Club Pet. A computerized tracking system lets one of their trained pet care technicians know what food or medications and how often they are needed.

Limousine Service ~ We offer limo service to almost any area in Northern Virginia, Washington, DC or the Maryland suburbs, as well as Reagan National, BWI and Dulles Airports. Of course their van is air-conditioned for your pet’s comfort.

Grooming and Training ~ They are staffed with certified groomers who can provide pet-a-cures, comb outs, shaving and full trims. Obedience training by state certified trainers can instruct you and your pet beginning with Kindergarten all the way through Advanced Training.

Veterinary Services ~ As a Registered Animal Facility, Club Pet offers limited veterinary services for pets staying with them.

You can have your pet’s routine health needs taken care of while staying at Club Pet.

Pet Shipping ~ Club Pet specializes in shipping pets anywhere in the world. They will board them until your new home is ready for their arrival. They will make all the flight arrangements, including selecting the best flight routes, health certificates, import permits, crating, handling and deliver to the departure airport.

Doggie Daycare ~ When you don’t want to leave your best friend home alone all day, try Doggie Daycare. Monday through Friday just drop your pet off after 8:00 AM and be back to pick him/her up before 6:00 PM.

HowsMyPet.Com ~ Club Pet is the first boarding facility to use state-of-the-art live Internet video. Take the worry out of leaving your pet behind when you go away. Live video of your pet is available during business hours with HowsMyPet.Com. Each owner has a special User ID and Password to log-on whenever they wish.

Giving Back to the Community ~ Bob Rollins works with the German Shepherd Rescue of Maryland and with the SPCA by providing discounted services at Club Pet. Each year Club Pet conducts free seminars at the Department of State on the proper way to prepare and ship pets. Bob and his staff discuss proper handling, crating, pet preparation, health certificates/permits and how to select the most direct flight route to get your pet safely to his new home.

AKC German Shepherds ~ In his spare time Bob raises and shows German Shepherds. He breeds them both for the show ring, as well as for home companionship. He has raised some of the finest German Shepherds including Day-O-Data’s Black Rose the 1992 Reserve winners bitch at the U.S. National 1993 Canadian Grand Victrix. In 1993 another shepherd, Sel.Ch.Valmay’s Show Me The Way was the winner at both the U.S. National and Canadian National. ABKA Member ~ As a member of the American Boarding Kennels Association, Club Pet is committed to operating their facility in accordance with the ABKA Bill of Rights for Boarded Pets. Their highly trained and certified staff caters to your pets needs and follows the ABKA Code of Ethical Conduct. Club Pet is also certified by the U.S. Department of Agriculture and is a member of IPATA.
